Cure Sore Throat At Home!

A sore throat refers to itchiness or irritation in the throat. The primary symptom of a sore throat is a pain in the throat. The pain may get worse when you swallow food and liquids.

Combine 1 cup warm water, 1/4 teaspoon baking soda, and 1/8 teaspoon of salt. Rinse every three to four hours (As per need).



6. Vitamin C

Take 1 gram of vitamin C two times a day. Whether your sore throat is caused by a cold or flu, vitamin-C will help boost your immunity and fight off infection. Reduce the dose if you develop diarrhoea.



7. Garlic



Garlic has natural antibacterial properties and is known for its ability to fight off infections. Consumption of garlic on a regular basis can prevent the common cold virus.

Garlic has many healing actions, though you may want to brush your teeth afterwards to protect your teeth from enzymes and improve your breath.



Sore throat remedies for infants and children

Throat infection in infants and young children are much more serious than grown children and adults. Still, the good news is that it can be cured at home, and there are very rare cases of a medical emergency.

Still, treating sore throats may be different for infants and children. Here are a few remedies to keep in mind:

  • Add cool mist or a humidifier to your child’s room. Moisture in the air will help in relieving the pain of sore throat.
